2024 Rental Rates

The Amherst Historical Society Hall is ideal for:

  • Parties, meetings, and events including weddings, birthday parties, and showers (up to 120 guests).

  • Limited parking available. Renters may hire valet or parking shuttle at their own expense.

Rental Options

  • Deposit Requirements:

    • Security deposit and half the rental fees are due at the time of booking to hold the date.

    • Fees must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to the event.

Full Day Rental:

  • 60 or fewer guests: $425/event

  • 61 to 100 guests: $475/event

Hourly Rental:

  • 60 or fewer guests: $90/hour (3-hour minimum = $270)

  • 61 to 100 guests: $100/hour (3-hour minimum = $300)

Note: One hour for setup and one hour for cleaning after the event are included at no charge.

Security & Cleaning Deposit:

  • $100/event

  • $200/event if alcohol will be served.
    Deposit is refunded after the event, provided keys are returned and the facility is clean and undamaged.

Membership Fee:

  • $25.00/year
    Membership is required to rent the facility.

Special Rates:

  • Available for occasional use by non-profit groups within the Amherst Historical Society’s service area.

Refund Policy:

  • Security deposit and rental fees are refundable if canceled 60 days prior to the event.


2025 Rental Rates

Effective January 1, 2025 (Prices subject to change without notice)

The Amherst Historical Society Hall remains perfect for hosting parties, meetings, and events with up to 120 guests.
Limited parking is available; renters may hire valet or parking shuttles at their own expense.

Rental Options:

  • Deposit Requirements:

    • Security deposit and half the rental fees are due at the time of booking to hold the date.

    • Fees must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to the event.

Weekend Rentals (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday):

  • 5-hour rental: $350

    • Additional time available at $75/hour

  • All-Day Rental: $650 (Hall access from 9 AM – midnight)

Weekday Rentals (Monday-Thursday):

  • 4-hour rental: $280

    • Additional time available at $50/hour

Note: Setup and cleanup time is included.

Additional Services:

  • Table Setup Service: $75

    • We set up tables and chairs according to your floor plan.

  • $100/event

  • $200/event if alcohol will be served.
