Join us for a 12-hour crowdfunding campaign hosted by the Community Foundation of Lorain County! This event raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for local non-profits, including the Amherst Historical Society.

Last year, we raised $9,002.02 thanks to the generosity of our supporters! We are deeply grateful for every contribution and hope to surpass that amount this year.

How It Works:

• Date: September 19th, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Where: Funds will be raised online through the Connect to a Cause website.
• What: Donors can browse a grant catalog and choose local non-profits to support directly. Donations made on September 19th help us qualify for additional matching funds from local sponsors!

Minimum donation: only $5!

Early Donations:
You can donate to the Amherst Historical Society before September 19th using any of the following methods:

• Card: Click here

• Cash: Accepted in person
• Check: Payable to “Amherst Historical Society” and mailed to
