🪨 This presentation provides an overview of the lifeways of Native Americans in North Central Ohio and the Black River Watershed that are a result of archaeological investigations in this area and Ohio in general. The finds of tools of stone and bone, seeds and nuts, animal remains, and adornments on archaeological sites tell the story. Also the cultural practices of Native Americans observed and recorded during the early days of this Nation and still observed today tell the story.
